Whew! I have a lot going on ladies and gents. For starters, I joined a Swap-Bot.com swap and will be sending off my bunting garland to the lucky recipient on Monday. I’e really enjoyed my swaps in the past… a mixtape, a vintage thrift store find, a self-portrait swap. I nabbed this bunting garland swap because I just LURV making them. My tutorials have been featured on OffbeatBride.com and I even have a couple in my Etsy shop for sale.

I love these vintage linen calendars. This is one of about ten that I have at home, awaiting ironing and a photo shoot for my shop.

I’m also preparing to teach a mini embroidery class at the Three Imaginary Girls “Getting crafty with Menomena and Darren Hanlon” meetup. We’ll be listening to new releases by Menomena and Darren Hanlon and I’ll be teaching some beginning embroidery techniques to people interested in learning. This is the first time I’ve taught anyone anything, for the most part, but I think it will be a ton ‘o fun and maybe I’ll learn something in the process! If you want to RSVP for the class so I can make sure I have enough supplies (please do!) just email me . The cost for the supplies is $10 and can be turned in when you show up!

I’ve been working on some ideas for my shop as well. Using vintage fabric I found at a thrift sale, I made this reversible ribbon tote. I love that you can sling it across your shoulder with ease and get on with your day. It’s washable, reversible and uses revamped fabric.. you can’t go wrong! It will be up in my shop once I can get some good pics of the booger.

I’ve also been toying with some jewelry ideas. Take a gander at these laser-engraved and cut pendants! Check my shop soon to see them put together in some snazzy new necklaces. I’m super loving the anchor one and the teeth!
